The solution consists of a 700 mm wide inkjet printer equipped with a CMYK + White ink
set with water-based textile pigment inks: the Transfer-Jet 7002.
Combined with a device that is in line with the printer that applies textile transfer glue
powder to the prints and ensures drying: the Powder-Fix 700.
The printer prints on translucent polyester film. The printer has two printheads that are
offset from each other. The front print head is supplied with white ink; the back print
the colors cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Because the heads are shifted, white can be
printed simultaneously with the colors in one pass.
This solution provides an extremely competitive technique versus flex transfers, screen
printing & direct to garment (DTG) printing.
